Toasted hazelnuts and melted dark chocolate fill the air with sweet, nutty aromas that are hard to resist. Perle Cakes are raspberry cakes that are light and fluffy, while every layer is perfectly placed to get the best combination of flavours and texture. The tart fresh raspberry flavours cut through the sweetness of the dark chocolate, leaving the hazelnuts to bring everything together.

Our Inspiration for Perle Cakes

The pairing of raspberries and dark chocolate is a classic one, and for good reason. The bitter and sweet taste of dark chocolate is lifted by the tartness of raspberries. This has always been one of our favourite flavour combinations! We decided to experiment in the kitchen and were delighted by the results!

We chose to add hazelnuts to the mix, which elevates every bite and adds a welcomed texture. Once the mini raspberry cakes have been baked and delicious dark chocolate and hazelnuts fill each layer, we add a smooth dark chocolate glaze. We then add fresh raspberry pieces to each mini cake as a finishing touch.

Our small Perle Cakes get their name inspiration from their chocolate glaze, a pearly surface of smooth chocolate baked to perfection. Each cake is about 8 cm by 5 cm, making them the ideal mini cakes for celebrations and special occasions. Contact us at least 2 weeks in advance to place your order!
